Navigent vs hireEZ: price, data and GDPR

Updated

hireEZ is an American AI platform that covers most of recruiting, from sourcing and CRM to screening and interview scheduling. Navigent is made in Copenhagen and does one thing: it takes a Danish job ad to a ranked longlist and reaches the people you choose. Here's how they differ on price, search, outreach and data, and what each does well.

The details about hireEZ were last checked on 13 October 2026. Sources are listed at the end.

What hireEZ is

hireEZ, legally HireTeamMate, Inc., sells its platform as EZ Agent: agents you direct, on top of your company's ATS. There are modules for sourcing, career sites, a candidate CRM, applicant review, screening through an AI conversation, interview scheduling and hiring metrics. According to hireEZ, nothing moves forward without your approval.

For sourcing, you give it the job ad and a description of the candidate you want, or keywords, and hireEZ pulls candidates from the open web and from your own ATS. According to hireEZ, the platform holds more than 1 billion candidate profiles from more than 45 channels. An AI review assesses every profile and shows why it fits, and when the pool is too small, hireEZ widens the search.

What hireEZ does well: one platform for the whole process, more than 40 native ATS integrations, and putting the candidates you already have back to work. hireEZ says the platform is SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certified.

What Navigent is

In Navigent, you start with a role. You paste the job ad, and Navigent reads the requirements and sets filters with Danish and English title variants, which you can remove. The preview is free. One search fetches about 1,000 unique candidates from a database of +305 million professional profiles, +1 million of them Danish LinkedIn profiles. The best 200 or so make the longlist, and up to about 50 recommended are assessed requirement by requirement, with evidence from the jobs each assessment rests on. You decide, and only people you've said yes to are contacted.

Price

hireEZ: A recruiter working alone starts at USD 494 a month, and hireEZ can be tried free for 7 days. For larger teams, hireEZ prices the platform against the tools it replaces and tests it with the team for four weeks before the contract is signed. There's no public per-user price for teams.

Navigent (Danish kroner, excluding VAT): Basis DKK 1,499 and Pro DKK 3,749 per user per month, with 10 and 30 searches shared across the organisation. Extra searches are DKK 199 each. Paying yearly gives you 12 months for the price of 10. You can try Navigent free: 2 free searches, 1 more per colleague, up to 5, no card.

hireEZ: The platform searches the open web and your ATS from the job ad, the candidate description or the keywords. The AI review highlights the parts of each profile that fit the role.

Navigent: You don't write a search string. Navigent reads a Danish or English job ad and sets function, seniority, location and years as filters, which only exclude with a tolerance, and missing data never excludes anyone. If the market is small, Navigent widens the search by itself. Three candidates at a time calibrate the ranking, and every assessment is written in Danish or English. How many profiles there are in Denmark for selected titles is shown in the candidate atlas.

How you contact candidates

hireEZ: Campaigns are written with AI and go out by email, SMS and InMail. The platform can also build a career page for every job and nurture candidates over time in its CRM.

Navigent: Campaigns send from your own LinkedIn account: an invitation without a note by default, a message after acceptance and follow-ups, with email from your own Gmail or Outlook as the fallback. Every message can be read before it's sent, a reply stops the sequence, and there's no open or click tracking. LinkedIn's rules don't allow tools that automate activity, and the risk to the account is yours. More in LinkedIn limits for recruiters.

Data and GDPR

hireEZ says in its privacy policy that it processes and stores all information in the United States, including when you're outside the United States. According to hireEZ, transfers from the EU rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Navigent: You're the data controller and Navigent is the processor. Navigent's database, sign-in and file storage are in the EU (Frankfurt). Several of its providers process data outside the EU, for example in the United States, and the list of sub-processors shows where each one does and under which transfer mechanism. The AI model gets the candidates' careers without names, photos, email addresses or phone numbers. Candidates who aren't on a shortlist for an active role are deleted 90 days after they were last fetched.

Either way, it's your recruitment. When you contact someone who hasn't applied, you owe them the information in Article 14 of the GDPR, at the latest in your first message. More in GDPR and sourcing passive candidates.
