Cookie policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy covers navigent.io, which is run by Navigent.io ApS, CVR 46285395, Nørre Voldgade 70, 4., 1358 København K, Denmark.
In short:
- navigent.io sets no cookies.
- The site keeps two small values in your browser, which disappear when you close the tab, and your choice in the cookie banner.
- The visitor statistics use no cookies, and we measure only if you say yes.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. The rules also cover similar technologies, such as a website storing data in the browser's own storage. Some are necessary for the site to work and need no consent. Others, such as those for statistics, need your consent.
2. What navigent.io stores in your browser
| Name | Purpose | Stored in | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| navigent.tier.2 | Remembers how much graphics your device can handle, so that the page does not overload it | Session storage | Until you close the tab |
| navigent.k16.closing-visits | Counts how many times you have seen the end of the front page, so that the animation can change the third time | Session storage | Until you close the tab |
| navigent.analytics-consent | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner and its date | Local storage | 12 months, after which the banner asks again |
The values are used only in your browser.
3. Visitor statistics and the banner
- On your first visit, a banner asks whether we may measure your visit with Vercel Web Analytics. The banner covers statistics only. It does not block the content, and saying no is as easy as saying yes.
- If you say yes, Vercel Web Analytics is loaded. It sets no cookies and uses no identifier that follows you across websites, and we see only aggregate figures.
- If you say no, nothing is loaded, and the site works exactly as it otherwise would.
- Your choice is stored with its date as navigent.analytics-consent, so that you are not asked on every visit. After 12 months the banner asks again.
4. Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn and G2 are plain links with no embedded content. Those sites set their own cookies under their own rules when you open them.
5. How to change your choice
- Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to open the banner again and change your choice.
- You can also delete the data navigent.io has stored in your browser. The banner will then ask again.
- You can block cookies and other storage for all websites in your browser.
6. Changes and contact
We update this policy when we change what the site stores in your browser, and when Navigent opens. The date at the top shows the latest change. The policy exists in Danish and English. If the versions differ, the Danish version prevails. Questions can be sent to info@navigent.io, and the privacy policy describes how we process personal data.
